This is the very first organ VOXUS Virtual Organs ever sampled. The recording took place in 2009. This organ positive was built by De Backer. This organ has now been moved to the national organ museum in Elburg. This recording preserves the sound of the organ in its previous location.
In 2010 VOXUS Virtual Organs sampled the early romantic Van Dam organ in Tholen, Netherlands. It is an organ from Friesland (Northern Netherlands) in one of the most monumental churches in Zeeland. It is a popular instrument for lovers of Dutch choral music. However, despite its limited disposition, this is an instrument suitable for various types of music.
